This partnership is being unveiled as part of the Solarize South Carolina program, which has launched in Charleston and its neighboring communities and is rolling out across the state this spring.

Solarize South Carolina is run in partnership with SmartPower, a national nonprofit that works to turbo-charge energy efficiency and renewable-energy efforts by helping local communities go solar. SmartPower operates the award-winning Solarize program in states across the U.S., and was recently awarded the “Project of Distinction Award” by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) as part of its Solarize Connecticut program.
