Batteries used in EVs are under strict specifications: the batteries must have a high energy density, high power density, high state of charge and depth of discharge performance, long service life, and at the lowest possible cost.
The performance of Ni-MH batteries is known to be better than that of lead-acid batteries.
However, Ni-MH batteries still fall behind in criteria such as rapid charge and discharge capacity, power density, and energy density.
The Li-ion batteries will bloom in the future.
