Improvement in the PV supply chain is realized in two aspects: stronger demand and advanced technology. In terms of the demand, leading markets like China, Europe and USA are enthusiastically developing PV projects. Demand in emerging markets becomes stronger month by month, and India is believed to be one of the leaders.
Conversion efficiency and power output of PV modules soared. The Chinese government announced to redefine the bottom line of mainstream and high efficient PV products, and this is regarded as a supportive policy to help the Chinese PV industry improve faster.
In the Western market, Intersolar Europe held and people gathered for meeting each other as well as displaying or visiting the latest updates of the PV industry. In the Eastern globe, however, trade and patent disputes raised concerns about global deployment and business strategies among Taiwanese and Chinese manufacturers. Still, maybe we shall regard the endless disputes as another aspect of the improvement in the PV supply chain.
