On December 8, 2022ļ¼Jiangsu Sunshine announced that the investment project in Jiuyuan District, Baotou City that the company intends to terminate will continue to be developed and promoted in Shizuishan City, Ningxia.
According to the announcement, Jiangsu Sunshine plans to build a high-purity polysilicon project with an annual output of 100,000 tons and an annual output of 10GW wafers, 10GW cells and 10GW modules in the Ningxia Shizuishan Economic and Technological Development Zone project.
The company plans to first build a high-purity polysilicon project with an annual output of 50,000 tons in Ningxia Shizuishan by its wholly-owned subsidiary Ningxia Cheng'an, with an investment of about 5 billion yuan. The project is expected to start in the first half of 2023, with a construction period of 1.5 years and reach production in the second year after it is put into operation.
