On June 16, APsystems (SH: 688348) announced that its Board of Directors had approved the proposal titled “On Adding Implementation Content and Locations, and Adjusting the Construction Timeline of Certain Projects Funded by Surplus Raised Capital.” The company agreed to expand the scope and implementation sites of the "150MWh Distributed Energy Storage Power Station Construction Project" and extend the project duration. At the same time, the project has been renamed to “Distributed PV and Energy Storage Power Station Construction Project.”
According to the announcement, without changing the total investment amount, APsystems plans to modify the project scope from “energy storage power station” to “photovoltaic power station + energy storage power station.” The project name has been accordingly updated to “Distributed PV and Energy Storage Power Station Construction Project.” The project locations have also been adjusted to include Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Sichuan, and other relevant provinces across China where the project will eventually be implemented. Furthermore, the construction period has been extended from 24 months to 48 months.
The announcement emphasized that with the continued rapid global growth in PV installations, new power systems are increasingly challenged by issues such as supply security, clean energy integration, system stability, and pressure from diverse loads.
