On the evening of June 17, LONGi Green Energy released the prospectus for its 2024 public offering of sci-tech innovation green corporate bonds, targeting professional investors.
According to the prospectus, the total issuance amount will not exceed RMB 4.8 billion. After deducting issuance expenses, the funds raised will be used to meet the company’s operational needs, replenish working capital, repay interest-bearing debts, support project construction and operations, make equity investments, and for other purposes permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Depending on the issuance timeline, actual issuance scale, timing of fund receipt, the company’s debt restructuring plan, and other funding requirements, the issuer may adjust the specific allocation of proceeds used for debt repayment and working capital replenishment, or modify the specific investment projects after completing the necessary procedures.
It is reported that out of the RMB 4.8 billion issuance:
1、RMB 2.032 billion is intended to replace self-funded investments made within the past 12 months in the 46GW monocrystalline silicon ingot and wafer project of Ordos LONGi Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as the “Tairui Wafer Project”);
2、RMB 586 million is earmarked for the Phase II 3GW high-efficiency BC cell project of Shaanxi Leye (referred to as the “3GW High-Efficiency BC Cell Project”), including RMB 481 million for construction and RMB 105 million to replace prior self-funded investments made within the past 12 months;
3、RMB 2.182 billion will go toward the Phase I 12.5GW high-efficiency BC cell project of LONGi Green Energy Photovoltaic (Xixian New Area) (referred to as the “12.5GW High-Efficiency BC Cell Project”), including RMB 1.888 billion for construction and RMB 293 million to replace prior self-funded investments made within the past 12 months.
