On June 24, Indian solar manufacturer Emmvee announced that it has received an order worth approximately INR15 billion ($1.25 billion) from KPI Green Energy Ltd. which is part of the Gujarat KP Group, to supply TOPCon bifacial solar modules for a pending solar project in Gujarat, which are being produced by its manufacturing facilities in Karnataka's Dada Baspet and Suibel manufacturing plants and deliveries are expected to be completed in FY2025-2026.
The two companies have been working together since 2021 and this latest deal further strengthens Emmvee's position as a preferred partner for concentrated solar developers.
Headquartered in Bangalore, Emmvee is one of India's leading solar manufacturers, with a current module production capacity of approximately 7.8GW and cell manufacturing capacity of 2.94GW, and is expanding its domestic and international market presence, supplying high-efficiency modules and solar cells to markets in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.
