Recently, Narada Power successfully signed an order for an independent energy storage project with a total capacity of 2.8GWh, which will fully adopt the 314Ah semi-solid state energy storage batteries independently developed by Narada. This marks the world's largest semi-solid state battery energy storage project to date.
It is reported that the order secured this time consists of three independent energy storage projects with a total capacity of 2.8GWh. Among them, the project in Shenzhen has a scale of 1.2GWh; two projects are deployed in Shanwei, each with a capacity of 800MWh.
Once completed, the projects are expected to absorb over 1 billion kWh of new energy electricity annually, which will greatly enhance the regional power grid's capacity to accommodate renewable energy, effectively alleviate the power supply-demand contradiction in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1 million tons per year.
