Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Phase I of the cell production line construction project in Nanhua County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, was held at the project site in Laogaoba Industrial Park.
It is reported that the total investment of the cell production line construction project in Nanhua County is 1.5 billion yuan, with a planned land area of approximately 89.75 mu and a total construction area of 59,832 square meters. Among them, Phase I covers an area of 50 mu and will build a lithium-ion battery production line with an annual output of 1GWh (gigawatt-hour), manufacturing laminated energy storage and power lithium-ion cells, along with supporting facilities such as production workshops, warehouses, and factory roads; Phase II covers an area of 39.75 mu and will construct lithium-ion energy storage PACK integration production lines and power PACK integration production lines with an annual output of 4GWh (gigawatt-hour).
Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 2 billion yuan, an annual tax payment of over 80 million yuan, and create 150 jobs. Through the industrial chain extension effect, it will drive the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industries.
