On August 15, CORNEX New Energy and Ningbo Shanshan Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement at CORNEX’s global headquarters. The agreement was signed by Zhu Xiaoping, Vice President of CORNEX, and Yang Haiying, Assistant to the President of Shanshan Technology, on behalf of both parties. The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives from both companies, including Dai Deming, Chairman of CORNEX, Huang Feng, President of CORNEX, Bu Xiangnan, Executive Vice President of CORNEX, as well as Li Fengfeng, Executive Vice President of Ningbo Shanshan, Chairman and President of Shanshan Technology, Geng Yanhui, Executive Vice President of Shanshan Technology, and Xiong Danyu, Assistant to the President of Shanshan Technology.
Under the agreement, the two parties will establish a procurement partnership worth over RMB 10 billion in anode materials. With 26 years of deep technical expertise and leading R&D capabilities, Shanshan Technology will mobilize all resources to ensure product excellence and stable supply, fully supporting the growth of CORNEX. The cooperation will focus on two key areas: anode materials for power batteries featuring superior low- and high-temperature performance, high-rate fast charging, and enhanced safety; and anode materials for energy storage batteries with large capacity and long cycle life. The partnership aims to combine strengths, drive technological breakthroughs, and accelerate industry upgrading.
This agreement marks another milestone in CORNEX’s efforts to strengthen supply chain resilience. Since the beginning of this year, CORNEX has signed several long-term supply agreements with leading raw material enterprises, underscoring its strong commitment to securing high-quality core materials and ensuring supply chain stability through forward-looking planning. Moving forward, CORNEX will continue to pursue its supply chain ecosystem strategy of “long-term stability, technological advancement, and value co-creation,” working closely with more partners to foster innovation through collaboration and jointly promote the high-quality development of the new energy industry.
