LEAPTING Intelligent (hereafter “Leapting”) is proud to announce that it has signed a 105 MW solar power purchase agreement (PPA) in Saudi Arabia. This project will mark Leapting’s first fixed-tilt solar installation in the region with 100% of the module installation completed autonomously by robots.
It is also Leapting’s first solar project in Saudi Arabia to achieve full automation in module installation using robotic installation technology.
Under the agreement, Leapting will deploy 10 self-developed, autonomous navigation module-laying robots (“installation robots”) to achieve fully automated installation of over 149,000 solar modules on fixed 4L racks.
Preparatory work for the project is progressing smoothly, and deployment of the robots and commencement of installation is scheduled for Q1 2026.
Vincent Liu, Leapting’s Overseas Sales Director, stated:"The signing of the Aloy Charge PPA project marks the first time Leapting’s installation robots will achieve 100% autonomous module installation in a fixed-tilt solar project in Saudi Arabia. This is a significant milestone for the company’s development and a groundbreaking achievement in fully automated module installation. The 10 installation robots deployed in this project will set new standards for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and installation quality, fully aligning with Saudi Arabia’s 'Vision 2030' strategic goals for renewable energy development."
