On September 19, Cospowers' Changde Factory in Hunan held a mass production ceremony for its 1.5GWh sodium-ion battery production line. With a total investment of 200 million yuan, this production line is the first sodium-ion battery production line with mass production capacity in Hunan Province.
The sodium-ion battery production line put into operation this time at Cospowers' Changde Factory is a modern production line integrating digitalization, intelligence and flexibility. Focusing on the production of multi-specification battery cells ranging from 50Ah to 180Ah, the line adopts the industry-leading polyanion technical route. It realizes real-time collection and dynamic analysis of production data through a full-process digital management and control system, and relies on intelligent algorithms to complete independent optimization and precise adjustment of process parameters. Notably, the production line features a high level of flexible production capacity, enabling it to quickly respond to product order demands of different capacity specifications and flexibly adapt to market changes. The completion and commissioning of this intelligent production line not only significantly improves the consistency and production efficiency of sodium-ion battery products, but also lays a solid hardware foundation for the large-scale and industrialized application of sodium-ion batteries.
