Recently, HiTHIUM announced the signing of a 2GWh energy storage system supply agreement with Solarpro, a leading European EPC provider specializing in solar-storage integration.
Under the agreement, HiTHIUM will deliver advanced long-duration energy storage solutions for utility-scale projects across multiple countries and regions in Eastern Europe.
In recent years, Eastern Europe has accelerated its energy transition, with renewable sources like wind and solar power steadily increasing their share in the power grid. Long-duration energy storage solutions can absorb excess electricity during peak renewable generation periods and release power when renewable output is low, effectively smoothing out the fluctuations and intermittency of renewable energy. This makes them a crucial pathway for ensuring grid stability and promoting renewable energy integration.
Under the agreement, HiTHIUM will provide advanced customized energy storage solutions, primarily utilizing the ∞Power 6.25MWh battery storage system equipped with 4h-dedicated ∞Cell 1175Ah batteries and the new generation of high-capacity 587Ah batteries.
The ∞Power 6.25MWh long-duration energy storage system from HiTHIUM is specifically engineered for extended energy storage requirements. This collaboration leverages HiTHIUM's ∞Power 6.25MWh 4h long-duration energy storage system and Solarpro's integration capabilities to provide crucial support for enhancing grid resilience and flexibility in Eastern Europe, accelerating the region's energy transition.
