From October 12 to 14, during Solar & Storage KSA 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Tongwei formally signed an 80MW high-efficiency module supply agreement with Sun Arabia, a leading local green energy solutions provider in Saudi Arabia.
Wu Siqi, Regional Business Representative for Middle East and Africa in Tongwei's Photovoltaic Business Department Component Marketing Division, and Zeyad Roshdy, Sales and Marketing Manager of Sun Arabia, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Ibrahem Ramadan, Regional Business Representative for Middle East and Africa in Tongwei's Photovoltaic Business Department Component Marketing Division, and Hussain Abdullah, General Manager of Sun Arabia, witnessed the signing.
Sun Arabia, established in 2022, is a leading local green energy solutions provider in Saudi Arabia with extensive experience in photovoltaic system integration and project implementation, having completed numerous successful projects. This collaboration marks the first partnership between the two companies and holds significant importance for Tongwei in further expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia's growing commercial and industrial photovoltaic market.
Historically, Saudi Arabia's PV market has been dominated by large-scale utility-scale power plants. With the deepening implementation of Saudi Vision 2030, the nation's investment in renewable energy continues to expand. The commercial and industrial distributed market is accelerating its growth, emerging as a new focal point for PV development. This collaboration will fully leverage Tongwei's product and technological strengths alongside Sun Arabia's local channels and project expertise to jointly advance regional energy structure optimization and green transformation.
