On the evening of November 3rd, Huitian New Material (Huitian) announced that it has signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Talent New Energy (Talent). The two companies will leverage their respective strengths to engage in strategic cooperation focusing on business operations and financial integration within the field of solid-state batteries and their key materials.
This collaboration primarily centers on three aspects: Collaborative R&D, Product Sales, and Capital Cooperation.
The parties will cooperate on adhesives for solid-state batteries.
They will jointly tackle key technical challenges, drawing on Huitian’s technological expertise in battery adhesives.
Talent New Energy will provide priority access to its testing platform to support the partners' frontier research and accelerate the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.
Talent New Energy will designate Huitian as a strategic supplier for adhesives and will prioritize Huitian when sourcing adhesive products.
Huitian will ensure supply capacity for solid-state battery adhesives and provide cost-competitive products to meet Talent New Energy's production demands.
The companies plan to jointly establish an industry fund in the future.
This fund will focus on investing in upstream and downstream targets within the solid-state battery industry, aiming to build a complete industry ecosystem, share resources, and achieve synergistic development.
Noteworthy Prior Investment
It is important to note that this is not their first collaboration. In October 2025, Huitian, through its participation in the establishment of Junan Huitian (Hangzhou) Equity Investment Partnership, invested 40 million RMB in Talent New Energy's B+ round of financing, acquiring a 0.82% stake.
Huitian stated that this agreement will allow the company to participate deeply in solid-state battery product R&D, accumulate technical and market experience, and lay the foundation for future expansion in the solid-state battery adhesive market. The company believes the signing of this agreement aligns with its development strategy and holds positive significance for the expansion of new business and market presence.
