Centralized independent storage, supporting storage for wind and solar farms, and commercial/industrial (C&I) storage projects are all accelerating implementation. Project scales range widely, typically from 10MW up to 500MW, with most having a storage duration of 2 to 4 hours.
Shandong Electric Power Era Wins System Procurement for Wanneng Minfeng County Grid-Forming Independent Storage Project
On November 3rd, the bid award result was announced for the energy storage system procurement of the CEEC Wanneng Xinjiang Minfeng County 200MW/800MWh Independent New Energy Storage Project. The announcement confirmed that the successful bidder was Shandong Electric Power Era Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
The project is located in Minfeng County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It involves the planned construction of one 200MW/800MWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) electrochemical energy storage station and one 220kV collection station. The project utilizes a grid-forming high-voltage cascaded solution and will be fully constructed and commissioned in a single phase.
CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Pre-wins 25MW/50MWh Storage System Procurement for Hainan PV Project
On November 3rd, Linhgao County Yehai Yuefeng New Energy Co., Ltd. announced the winning candidates for the procurement of the 25MW/50MWh energy storage system integration for the Yehai Yuefeng Linhgao Bohou Town 100MWp Agro-PV Hybrid Project.
The first winning candidate was CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 27.865 million RMB, equating to a unit price of 0.5573 RMB/Wh. The second winning candidate was Xuchang Xuji Electric Storage Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 27.3305171 million RMB, equating to a unit price of 0.5466 RMB/Wh.
Sungrow Wins Anhui Conch Group's 10MW/20MWh Storage System Procurement in Jining, Shandong
On November 3rd, the bid result was announced for the 10MW/20MWh energy storage system equipment for the Jining Conch Wind-Storage Project. Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. won the bid with a price of 13 million RMB, equating to a unit price of 0.65 RMB/Wh. According to the tender announcement, the project was tendered by Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and is located within the plant of Jining Conch Cement Co., Ltd. in Shandong. The procurement covers the 10MW/20MWh energy storage system equipment.

JD Energy Wins 500MW/2000MWh Storage System Procurement in Inner Mongolia
On November 3rd, the bid award result was announced for the energy storage system equipment procurement of Sub-project 1 EPC General Contract for the CEEC Jilin Institute Dengkou 1GW/4GWh Power-Side Independent Energy Storage Project. Zhuhai Hengqin Entai Energy Storage Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of JD Energy, won the bid.
The EPC General Contract for Sub-project 1 of the Dengkou 1GW/4GWh Power-Side Independent Energy Storage Project is being implemented by the Jilin Electric Power Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. of PowerChina. Located in Dengkou County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the construction scale is 500MW/2000MWh.
REsource Electric Tianjin Ltd. Wins 225MW/450MWh Storage System Procurement for PowerChina Inner Mongolia Wind Project
On November 3rd, the bid result was announced for the energy storage system procurement of the CEEC Hubei Engineering Co., Ltd. Xilin Gol Jingneng Zhihui Sand Control and Wind-PV Integration Project 2024 Sunite Right Banner 150MW Wind Power Project PC General Contract. REsource Electric Tianjin Ltd. won the bid.
The wind power installed capacity for the Sunite Right Banner 150MW Wind Power Project PC General Contract is 150MW. The project requires the configuration of an electrochemical energy storage system at 15% of the wind installed capacity for 2 hours, resulting in an energy storage system scale of 225MW/450MWh.
TMR Energy Wins 200MW/800MWh Storage System Procurement for Dunhuang, Gansu
On November 5th, Hyp-arch Architectural Design Consultant Co.,ltd. announced the signing of a routine operating procurement contract by its wholly-owned subsidiary. Hope Digital procured the energy storage system for the Dunhuang Guosheng Nandou 200MW/800MWh Independent Energy Storage Demonstration Project from TMR Energy, with a unit price equating to 0.625 RMB/Wh.
Successful Bidders Announced for PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power C&I Storage System Equipment Procurement
On November 5th, the successful bidders were announced for the Commercial and Industrial Microgrid Energy Storage System Equipment Procurement Project for the PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Company Zhixin Household Storage Product Operation Center Project.
