On November 19th, at the 8th China International PV & Energy Storage Industry Conference 2025, Leascend Photovoltaic officially launched its new "Planet" series heterojunction (HJT) multi-split modules, namely Uranus Pro and Venus Pro.
It is reported that the two new modules have directly set new industry mass production records through dual breakthroughs in mass production power and average conversion efficiency, providing better solutions for various application scenarios.
Technically, both modules adopt multi-split technology and high-density packaging solutions, combined with the application of light-converting (UV) adhesive film. This forms triple protection features of high load-bearing capacity, high water resistance and strong UV resistance, along with characteristics such as high power output and high reliability. They can effectively reduce costs including brackets, combiner boxes, cables and floor space, delivering superior BOS and LCOE costs.
The newly released Leascend Photovoltaic Uranus Pro is a G12-0BB format bifacial double-glass heterojunction module. It boasts a maximum bifaciality of nearly 95%, a mass-producible power of 745W+ and a conversion efficiency of up to 24%+. In terms of application scenarios, this module is suitable for large-scale ground-mounted power plants and industrial/commercial rooftop projects.
The other new product, Venus Pro, is a G12-0BB format monofacial double-glass all-black heterojunction module. With a mass-producible power of 550W+ and a conversion efficiency of up to 24%+, it is applicable to industrial/commercial rooftops, high-end residential buildings, cultural tourism projects and other scenarios.
The grand launch of these two new products is backed by Leascend Photovoltaic's profound technological accumulation and production capacity layout. As one of the core enterprises in the N-type heterojunction (HJT) technology sector, Leascend Photovoltaic focuses on the R&D and mass production of third-generation N-type heterojunction cells. Currently, its 8GW high-efficiency heterojunction cell project in Meishan has been officially put into production, forming a large-scale production capacity advantage.
In terms of cost reduction and technological iteration, Leascend Photovoltaic continuously reduces the production cost of HJT modules through the application of key processes such as wafer thinning, silver-clad copper paste and 0BB (zero busbar) technology. Meanwhile, the company has made forward-looking layouts in perovskite tandem technology, with the laboratory conversion efficiency having exceeded 32.99%, laying a solid foundation for future breakthroughs in efficiency limits.
