On November 18, HyperStrong’s German subsidiary, HyperStrong International (Germany) GmbH, officially signed an agreement with LEAG Clean Energy GmbH. The two parties plan to jointly develop a large-scale energy storage project in Germany with a total capacity of 1.6 GWh.
The project, named “GigaBattery-Boxberg-400,” is a key component of LEAG’s “Giga Factory” strategic plan. It is designed as an integrated renewable energy hub that combines photovoltaic and wind power generation, energy storage, and a hydrogen-compatible power plant.
Under this cooperation, HyperStrong will provide a 4-hour energy storage system solution for the project, based on the company’s mature HyperBlock-III products. In addition, it will offer full-chain “turnkey” services covering project design, core equipment supply, commissioning and grid connection, as well as long-term operational support, ensuring the project’s high-quality implementation.
According to incomplete statistics from EnergyTrend, since June 2025, HyperStrong has consecutively secured multiple energy storage project orders in overseas markets, with a total order volume exceeding 3.7 GWh.
In terms of supply chain layout, HyperStrong recently signed a ten-year strategic cooperation agreement with CATL, securing a minimum battery procurement of 200 GWh from 2026 to 2028. This move not only strengthens battery supply assurance but also lowers costs through large-scale procurement, significantly enhancing its price competitiveness in the energy storage market.
