On the evening of December 10,Aiko Solar released an announcement stating that its subsidiary,Shandong Aiko Solar Technology Co.,Ltd.,has signed an Equipment Procurement Contract with Suzhou Puyite Automation System Co.,Ltd.Under the contract,Aiko will purchase a total of 15 sets(25 units)of wet-process manufacturing equipment for solar cells, with a total contract value of RMB 55.08 million(tax included).
The purpose of this procurement is to meet the production needs of the latest-generation ABC technology process at Aiko’s Jinan manufacturing base. The Jinan base plans to adopt the third-generation N-type ABC technology, which delivers higher conversion efficiency, improved product performance, lower production costs, and enhanced market competitiveness.
According to the announcement,Suzhou Puyite has long served as Aiko’s designated supplier for photovoltaic wet-process equipment and has repeatedly completed the R&D and delivery of core equipment for ABC technology. In July 2025,Aiko purchased a prototype of a new coating machine from Puyite. The prototype performed well during testing and met expected targets, and this new procurement is based on the successful trial of that prototype and aims to scale up to mass-production equipment.
Because Aiko’s actual controller,Chen Gang,is also the actual controller of Suzhou Puyite, this transaction constitutes a related-party transaction.
Under the agreement, the seller must complete delivery within 120 days after receiving the advance payment and shipment payment.Excluding this transaction,Aiko has conducted 13 related-party transactions with the same counterparty over the past twelve months, with a cumulative amount of approximately RMB 125 million.
As the cumulative amount exceeds 5%of the company's most recent audited net assets, this transaction—after being approved by the board of directors—must still be submitted to the shareholders’meeting for approval.
