Recently, three companies secured new energy storage orders: Risen Energy signed a 100 MWh C&I storage order, Trina Solar won a 1 GWh storage order in the United States, and Yuneng Technology successfully delivered a 400 MWh storage order.
01 Risen Energy Signs New 100 MWh C&I Storage Order
On December 11, Risen Energy signed cooperation agreements with Anhui Xingguang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Hefei Nansai Photovoltaic Energy Co., Ltd., covering a total of 100 MWh of commercial and industrial storage orders scheduled for 2026.
Under the agreements, Risen Energy will provide customers with more reliable products, more comprehensive solar-storage integrated solutions, and higher-value energy services.
This cooperation will further strengthen Risen Energy’s solar-plus-storage deployment in Anhui Province. Leveraging both parties’ channel resources and technical capabilities, the partnership aims to accelerate the rollout and market expansion of integrated solar-storage projects.
02 Trina Solar Secures 1 GWh Storage Order in the United States
Recently, Trina Solar announced an expanded strategic partnership with Lightshift Energy, a leading U.S. developer, owner, and operator of energy storage systems.
The two parties plan to jointly develop more than 1 GWh of energy storage projects in the United States, primarily adopting Trina Solar’s Elementa 2 Pro energy storage solution.
Trina Storage and Lightshift already have a successful collaboration foundation. In 2024, they jointly completed four projects in Groton, Holden, and Paxton, Massachusetts.
03 Yuneng Technology Successfully Delivers 400 MWh Storage Order in Hebei
Recently, Yuneng Technology’s wholly owned subsidiary Jiangsu Lingshu YN successfully completed equipment delivery for the Kunteng 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage power station in Shenzhou, Hebei. The project has now officially entered the grid-connection stage.
In this cooperation, Yuneng Technology secured the supply order for 80 units of the Ocean 5000L prefabricated energy storage cabins, as well as one EMS system and the PCS+BMS system.
The delivered products adopt modular distributed energy storage technology and an adaptive temperature-difference regulation strategy, significantly reducing auxiliary power consumption compared with traditional solutions. This marks a major breakthrough for the company in both order acquisition and delivery capabilities for large-scale base-type energy storage projects.
