Recently, a number of companies—including Ganfeng Lithium Battery, KSTAR, Xinglian Energy Storage, and Huihe New Energy—have successively disclosed the latest progress in their energy storage projects.
Ganfeng Lithium Battery Signs 10GWh Zero-Carbon Industrial Base Project in Jiangxi
On December 11, Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony with Fenyi County, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, for the Ganfeng 10GWh PV–storage–direct current–flexible (PV–storage–DC–flexible) zero-carbon industrial base project.
According to available information, the 10GWh PV–storage–DC–flexible zero-carbon industrial base is planned to be developed into a comprehensive industrial cluster integrating intelligent manufacturing, technology R&D, energy management, and demonstration and exhibition functions.
The project’s construction scope includes pouch lithium battery production lines and system integration plants, distributed photovoltaic power generation systems with supporting electrochemical energy storage facilities, green transportation and logistics infrastructure, as well as other related auxiliary industrial facilities.
KSTAR’s High-End New Energy and Energy Storage Industrial Base Tops Out
On December 10, 2025, the topping-out ceremony for KSTAR’s high-end new energy and energy storage industrial base project was grandly held in Guangming District, Shenzhen.
With a total gross floor area of approximately 91,800 square meters, the project will mainly be used for the R&D and intelligent manufacturing of new energy products such as photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems, and EV charging piles, as well as integrated PV–storage–charging solutions.
As a key strategic layout for KSTAR in the new energy sector, the base is expected, upon full commissioning, to significantly enhance the company’s production capacity and intelligent manufacturing capabilities in the photovoltaic and energy storage fields.
Huihe New Energy’s 10 Million m² Lithium Battery Separator Project Passes EIA
On December 9, the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for Huizhou Huihe New Energy Co., Ltd.’s lithium battery separator project with an annual capacity of 10 million square meters was officially approved.
The project is located on the first floor of Plant No. 1 at Zhongzhe Shanglanbai Industrial Park, Dongjiang Science and Technology Park, Zhongkai High-Tech Zone, Huizhou. The total investment amounts to RMB 1 million, with both land use and building area covering 2,800 square meters. According to the plan, the project will mainly involve the construction of lithium battery separator production lines, with a designed annual capacity of 10 million square meters upon completion.
Huizhou Huihe New Energy Co., Ltd. was established in August 2025 with a registered capital of RMB 1 million. Its legal representative is Zou Haibin, and its main business scope includes R&D of electronic specialty materials, battery manufacturing, and electronic component manufacturing.
Xinglian Energy Storage Phase I Project Achieves New Milestone
The “Xinglian Energy Storage 12GWh battery energy storage container and supporting 10GWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell intelligent manufacturing project (Phase I)”, located in Yuxi High-Tech Zone, Yunnan Province, has recently made new progress.
On December 4, 2025, the project completed the bid announcement for the procurement of distribution cabinets and related equipment. Yunnan Laiyu Power Engineering Co., Ltd. won the contract with a bid of approximately RMB 16.78 million, with a construction period set at 88 calendar days.
Phase I of the project is planned with a total investment of RMB 1.8 billion and a total construction area of about 42,000 square meters. The construction target is an annual output of 4GWh of new-type energy storage systems and 2GWh of lithium iron phosphate cells. The main construction content includes new factory buildings and supporting facilities, equipped with one containerized battery energy storage cabin assembly line and one cell production line, and the introduction of 4,000Ah high-energy-density cell technology.
