On December 24, Lopal Tech issued an announcement stating that the company intends to raise the annual production capacity of Phase III of the Large-scale Production Project of Cathode Materials for Power and Energy Storage Batteries of New Energy Vehicles (a fund-raising investment project) from 62,500 tonnes to 100,000 tonnes.
Up to now, the Phase I project with an annual capacity of 25,000 tonnes and the Phase II project with an annual capacity of 62,500 tonnes have been completed and put into production. The project whose construction contents are adjusted this time is the Phase III project, with its planned annual production capacity increased from 62,500 tonnes to 100,000 tonnes. After the capacity expansion of Phase III, the total annual production capacity will reach 187,500 tonnes.
The board of directors of the company deems that this adjustment is made on the basis of fully considering the changes in the market environment and the company’s future development strategy. It is in line with the long-term development requirements of the company, and is conducive to improving the efficiency of the use of raised funds and enhancing the overall operating efficiency of the company.
It is reported that Lopal Tech completed a private placement in May 2022, raising approximately RMB 2.176 billion in funds. As of November 30, 2025, Lopal Tech has cumulatively utilized RMB 1.636 billion of the raised funds.
Among the fund-raising investment projects, the cumulative investment progress of the Annual Output of 600,000 Tonnes of Vehicle Urea Project, the Annual Output of 40,000 Tonnes of Battery-grade Energy Storage Materials Project and the Working Capital Supplementary Project have all exceeded 100%. For the Large-scale Production Project of Cathode Materials for Power and Energy Storage Batteries of New Energy Vehicles with a total investment of RMB 1.290 billion, the cumulative investment amount stood at RMB 0.733 billion, with a cumulative investment progress of 56.85%.
