Recently, the global energy storage market has seen a fresh wave of order deliveries and contract signings, with both domestic and overseas business expansion accelerating in parallel. In China, Risen Energy secured a 130MWh regional cooperation order. In international markets, EVE Energy, REPT Battero, and Yuneng Technology Co., Ltd. landed major projects in Türkiye, India, and Japan, respectively, while Samsung SDI further strengthened its presence in the U.S. LFP market with a contract worth tens of billions of yuan.
EVE Energy Delivers 110MWh Energy Storage Order in Türkiye
Recently, EVE Energy announced the completion of delivery for a 110MWh energy storage system order in the Turkish market. The first batch of 32 systems has officially been shipped from its Jingmen manufacturing base.
The equipment will be received by Turkish energy company Aksa Renewable Energy and deployed in a 50MW standalone energy storage power station in Şanlıurfa and a 40MW solar-plus-storage integrated project in Gaziantep.
The delivered products are EVE Energy’s 3.44MWh-280-1P high-rate liquid-cooled energy storage systems. The systems adopt a 20-foot standard container design and strictly comply with international transportation and grid-connection standards.
Risen Energy Secures Another 130MWh Energy Storage Cooperation Order
Recently, Risen Energy announced the signing of strategic cooperation agreements with four regional energy companies, with the total capacity of energy storage projects under a single round of contracts exceeding 130MWh. The agreements cover key markets including Anhui, Henan, and Jiangsu provinces.
Under the cooperation agreements, Risen Energy will supply 40MWh of energy storage systems to Huainan Duopu New Energy, and 30MWh of energy storage equipment each to Xuancheng Shengwei New Energy, Henan Jiongyue Construction Engineering, and Nanjing Xinhao New Energy.
It is reported that the projects mainly involve residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage, covering cooperation areas such as solar-plus-storage project development, EPC turnkey contracting, energy storage solutions, and integrated solar-storage-charging infrastructure.
Samsung SDI Secures Over KRW 2 Trillion Energy Storage Order in the U.S.
On December 29, according to overseas media reports, Samsung SDI is undergoing a major strategic shift. Under a new U.S. contract valued at more than KRW 2 trillion (approximately RMB 9.68 billion), the company will begin supplying prismatic lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for energy storage systems.
Samsung SDI’s U.S. subsidiary is headquartered in Michigan. The company will initiate the manufacturing of battery cells for energy storage systems at its production base in Indiana. Currently, Samsung SDI is converting part of the production lines at this facility—previously used for electric vehicle battery cells—into lines dedicated to producing prismatic LFP cells for energy storage applications.
Yuneng Technology Co., Ltd. Signs 100MWh Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage Order in Japan
Recently, Yuneng Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a well-known local energy storage system integrator in Japan, reaching a supply agreement for 100MWh of energy storage products.
According to the agreement, Yuneng Technology will deliver energy storage power station systems with a total capacity exceeding 100MWh in Japan over the next year. At the same time, the systems will be officially connected to Japan’s electricity trading markets, including JEPX and EPRX, to participate in high-standard technical services such as grid frequency regulation.
REPT Battero Signs 1GWh Energy Storage System Order
Recently, REPT Battero formally signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Indian energy company Mindra Group.
Under the agreement, REPT Battero will supply Mindra with a total of 1GWh of energy storage systems. The initial phase includes the distribution of 150MWh of energy storage systems and the supply of 314Ah high-capacity battery cells, fully supporting the rapid growth of local electric vehicle and energy storage businesses. The two parties will also jointly promote the construction of a 1GWh battery module production line.
In addition, REPT Battero has recently signed a global strategic cooperation memorandum with Spanish company Ingeteam. Leveraging its core technological strengths in battery energy storage products, REPT Battero will deeply integrate with Ingeteam’s expertise in power conversion and inverter technologies. The partnership will focus on key markets including Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and Germany, actively expanding market presence and carrying out joint branding initiatives.
