As learned from EnergyTrend, on January 13, CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. issued an announcement disclosing the receipt status of renewable energy subsidy funds in 2025. The photovoltaic power generation project companies under the company received a total of RMB 3.318 billion in subsidies throughout the year, representing a substantial year-on-year increase of 142.90%.
The announcement showed that among the subsidy funds received this time, the national renewable energy subsidy funds amounted to RMB 3.152 billion, with a year-on-year growth rate of 155.64%; the rest were local relevant subsidy funds.
According to the announcement, the arrival of this large sum of renewable energy subsidy funds will effectively improve the cash flow situation of the company's photovoltaic power stations and exert a positive impact on the future operation of the company's photovoltaic power stations.
As a leading enterprise in the domestic photovoltaic power station operation sector, CECEP Solar Energy has a business scope covering the entire industrial chain of photovoltaic power station development, construction and operation, and has laid out large-scale photovoltaic power generation projects in many regions.
When replying to investors' questions on the interactive platform on January 9, CECEP revealed that its operational power stations are dominated by centralized photovoltaic projects. As of the first half of 2025, the total scale of the company's operational power stations was approximately 6.535GW, among which distributed projects accounted for 0.25GW and the rest were centralized photovoltaic power stations. The company will continue to adhere to centralized photovoltaic power stations as the main development line in the future.
In terms of technological R&D, CECEP Solar Energy has also achieved breakthroughs. The company stated that the conversion efficiency of its small-area perovskite-silicon tandem cells has exceeded 30%, and the small-area size of such cells is currently about 0.5cm. Regarding the specific progress of subsequent large-scale production planning, module market promotion and sales, the company will timely disclose the information through official announcements.
