At the start of 2026, orders in the residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage sectors have continued to land, and the pace of the energy storage industry's global expansion has accelerated. Three enterprises—Solax Power, RCT Power and Dafu Technology—have successively secured major energy storage orders.
On the evening of January 25, Solax Power issued an announcement stating that it had signed a 2026 sales cooperation agreement with Raystech Group Pty Ltd. Raystech Group Pty Ltd will act as Solax Power's exclusive general agent for residential energy storage in the Australian market, with a procurement volume of no less than 1 GWh for 2026.
It is reported that this framework agreement is valid from January 1 to December 31, 2026, covering the entire territory of Australia. Solax Power will supply residential energy storage batteries, commercial & industrial energy storage batteries and related accessories to the Australian market. The agreement does not involve specific monetary amounts, and subsequent shipment volumes shall be based on actual orders.
Solax Power stated that this cooperation will help both parties leverage their respective strengths and achieve expansion and breakthroughs in the Australian market by utilizing localized resources. Solax Power's main businesses include energy storage batteries, energy storage inverters and grid-tied inverters. In the first three quarters of 2025, the company achieved an operating revenue of RMB 3.028 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.80%.
Recently, RCT Power announced that its new LABEL liquid-cooled commercial & industrial energy storage systems—the L261 and L1044 models—have successively secured bulk orders in France and Finland.
At present, these new products have been commercially deployed in multiple European countries. This includes signing bulk delivery agreements for the L261 system with strategic partners in France, as well as successfully entering the Finnish market and signing the first batch of orders. To date, the cumulative overseas deployed capacity has exceeded 2.5 MWh, and several additional bulk orders have entered the substantive negotiation phase.
On January 19, Jiangsu Dafu Integrated Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (Dafu Technology) announced the signing of a 900 MWh energy storage system order. A relevant person in charge of Dafu Technology stated that the company expects to achieve a shipment volume of 7 GWh of energy storage systems in 2026.
In addition, EnergyTrend learned that on January 20, Dafu Technology signed an investment cooperation agreement with the Shuozhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee. The two parties will jointly develop a 1 GW/4 GWh energy storage power station project and a 10 GWh new energy energy storage production base project.
It is reported that the total investment of the project reaches RMB 3.6 billion, covering an area of 400 mu (approximately 26.67 hectares), with a planned total construction area of 260,000 square meters. Of this, 200,000 square meters will be used for constructing core facilities such as energy storage battery packs, electrical control systems and fire protection systems, while the remaining 60,000 square meters will be allocated to supporting buildings such as factory control rooms. After the project is filed and obtains power connection approval, construction will be completed within 6 months, and it will be officially put into production and operation within 12 months.
