In early February, European energy solutions provider Energy 3000 reached cooperation agreements with two Chinese photovoltaic (PV) enterprises in succession. LONGi Green Energy renewed its framework agreement for a three-year supply of 2GW in modules, while TCL PV Tech signed a strategic distribution agreement covering three German-speaking countries. These moves signal that Chinese PV manufacturers are accelerating their penetration into core European distribution channels.
LONGi Green Energy Renews 2GW European Module Supply Agreement
On February 5, LONGi Green Energy officially renewed its three-year cooperation framework agreement with Energy 3000.
According to the agreement, LONGi will supply a total of 2GW of high-efficiency PV modules to Energy 3000 over the next three years. This collaboration extends a previous partnership that successfully completed the delivery of 1.5GW in modules. Under the new agreement, the supply focus will shift entirely to LONGi's new generation of HPBC 2.0 technology products.
The HPBC 2.0 modules covered in the agreement feature a conversion efficiency of 24.8% and maintain a yield rate above 97%. The higher-tier HIBC technology achieves a mass production efficiency of 25.9%, with power output exceeding 700W. The EcoLife "Full Black" series modules, developed based on this technology, have already achieved mass production and have been introduced to the European market.
Since the start of 2026, LONGi Green Energy has significantly accelerated its penetration of the European distribution market. In addition to this order with Energy 3000, LONGi previously signed a 300MW procurement agreement for HPBC 2.0 products with distributor BM Energy.
Regarding market access and compliance, three of LONGi’s core modules have passed TÜV SÜD’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and were among the first to complete the French Product Environmental Profile (PEP) registration. Additionally, its EcoLife series 500W module won the 2026 German Excellence Award in the "Energy & Environment" category.
TCL Expands into the German-Speaking PV Market
On February 2, SunPower Global, a subsidiary of TCL PV Tech, also officially signed a strategic distribution agreement with Energy 3000.
Under the terms of the agreement, Energy 3000 will leverage its channel influence in Central Europe to take charge of distributing TCL Solar brand module products throughout Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
notably, the partnership has been significantly deepened for the Austrian market, where Energy 3000 will fully import and promote the SunPower series energy solutions developed by TCL.
Furthermore, as a key initiative to strengthen this collaboration, TCL PV Tech will serve as the main sponsor for the "2026 Burgenland Roundtable" hosted by Energy 3000. At the event, the company will showcase its latest innovations to over 500 industry partners, utilizing the platform to precisely connect with local market demands.
