Recently, EVE Energy has taken a series of major steps, making simultaneous efforts and achieving two-way breakthroughs in both domestic capacity expansion and global strategic development. It has successively completed two important arrangements: the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hefei and the completion of its second-phase plant in Malaysia, further improving its global lithium battery industrial layout.
Investing 500 Million Yuan, EVE Energy Hefei Founded
According to EnergyTrend, on February 13, EVE Energy Hefei Co., Ltd. was officially established. The company is wholly owned by Huizhou EVE Energy Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 500 million yuan, and Zou Hui serves as the legal representative.
Information from Qichacha shows that the new company is registered at the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, Anhui Province. Its business scope covers emerging energy technology R&D, battery manufacturing and sales, production and sales of new energy vehicle parts, etc., providing a full industry chain supporting services including R&D, production and sales of new energy batteries.
Completion of EVE Energy’s SecondPhase Plant in Malaysia
While strengthening its domestic layout, EVE Energy has continued to accelerate its global expansion. On February 24, EVE Energy announced that the completion and ribboncutting ceremony of the secondphase plant at its Malaysia base was successfully held recently, marking that EVE Energy’s Malaysia base has entered a new stage of largescale production and operation.
It is reported that construction of EVE Energy’s Malaysia base officially started in August 2023. Based on previous announcements, the base consists of Phase I cylindrical battery project and Phase II energy storage battery project:
As an important strategic pillar of EVE Energy’s global layout, the operation of Phase I and Phase II projects in Malaysia will further strengthen the company’s overseas manufacturing and delivery capabilities, better serving customers in international markets including Southeast Asia, Europe and North America.
In addition to the Malaysia base, EVE Energy is also developing a passenger vehicle large cylindrical battery project in Hungary. Upon completion and operation, it will form an overseas layout of “Europe + Southeast Asia”, supporting the implementation of its global strategy.
