In its latest investor relations activity record, LONGi announced the completion of its acquisition of PotisEdge Co., Ltd.
Public records indicate that PotisEdge has long been dedicated to technological innovation and product R&D. The company has independently developed core products, including power management systems and energy storage systems. By continuously advancing the reform of its quality system and the construction of its after-sales operation and maintenance network, it has successfully built comprehensive capabilities in product full-lifecycle management and services.
Following the acquisition, LONGi will further strengthen business integration and leverage synergistic effects. This move aims to enhance its comprehensive competitiveness in energy storage system integration and delivery, ultimately providing customers with more complete green energy solutions.
Prior to this, LONGi had officially entered the energy storage sector by acquiring approximately 61.9998% of the voting rights in PotisEdge through equity acquisition, capital injection, and voting rights entrustment.
On November 26, 2025, LONGi unveiled its energy storage product solutions in London, UK, and launched a one-stop energy storage solution. This marked the transition of its energy storage business from the initial layout phase to a stage of systematic advancement.
Meanwhile, LONGi is actively advancing the localized deployment of its overseas production capacity. On January 14, the company announced its support for PotisEdge and the US-based lithium battery company NeoVolta in jointly establishing a joint venture, NeoVolta Power, LLC. They plan to build a battery energy storage system manufacturing base in Pendergrass, Georgia, USA. The project features a planned initial capacity of 2GWh, with the potential to expand to 8GWh in the future. Mass production is expected to commence in mid-2026, primarily focusing on serving the demands of the utility, commercial, and industrial energy storage markets.
In terms of market expansion, LONGi has also achieved significant milestone results. From March 10 to 12, during the Solar Solutions exhibition in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, LONGi reached energy storage system cooperation agreements with two core European partners, reaching a total contracted scale of 600MWh.
Specifically, the company reached a 350MWh cooperation intent with BM Energy. By leveraging BM Energy's distribution network in the Western European market, LONGi aims to strengthen its project execution capabilities for energy storage systems in the region. Simultaneously, it signed a 250MWh cooperation intent with OSW to further deepen its channel layout and open new pathways for entering the Eastern European market.
