According to EnergyTrend, on April 28, Jiangsu Guofeng Yuanchu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yichu Digital Intelligence, saw the official entry of the first batch of core production equipment for its annual 30GWh battery PACK and system integration project.
At present, the 30GWh battery PACK and system integration project of Guofeng Yuanchu has entered the equipment installation and commissioning phase, striving to hit the 15GWh production capacity target for 2026.
Records show that in January 2026, the project initiated approval procedures in Suqian Economic and Technological Development Zone, setting a record of obtaining five construction-related certificates within just 33 days. The project officially started construction on January 21, with the first batch of core production equipment delivered on April 28. It is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of June, targeting an annual capacity of 15GWh in 2026, and reaching a full annual capacity of 30GWh upon complete completion.
It is reported that Guofeng Yuanchu will further build the industry’s first benchmark smart factory for energy storage PACK manufacturing powered by AI with high standards and strict requirements. After full operation, the project will realize large-scale and standardized mass production and delivery of high-safety, long-cycle-life and high-efficiency energy storage battery PACKs as well as large containerized energy storage systems.
