Recently, domestic Chinese photovoltaic (PV) enterprises have frequently secured significant orders in the Asia-Pacific region. Notably, JA Solar signed a massive 1GW module order with five Australian distributors and plans to participate in a future energy venture capital fund; JinkoSolar secured a 79.33MW high-efficiency module supply agreement in Australia; and SPIC New Energy successfully delivered its first batch of 4.4MW heterojunction (HJT) modules to the Philippines.
JA Solar Signs 1GW Module Order in Australia
On May 12, JA Solar announced that it had signed a total of 1GW PV module distribution agreements with five Australian distributors—OSW, LUXCO ENERGY, Sol Distribution, SOLAR AGENT, and GREENTECH—further expanding its overseas market layout.
While continuously advancing its global channel construction, JA Solar is also increasing its investment layout in the future energy sector.
On May 11, JA Solar issued an announcement stating that the company had signed a "Fund Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Shanghai Shenergy Chengyi Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. The two parties plan to jointly establish a future energy venture capital fund with a subscribed size not exceeding 1 billion yuan, of which JA Solar intends to subscribe up to 300 million yuan as a limited partner.
According to the announcement, the fund will focus its investments on areas such as utility-scale ground-mounted PV and smart energy, paying close attention to projects with core technical barriers and commercialization potential, in order to broaden the company's investment channels and perfect its future energy industry layout.
JinkoSolar Signs Another 79.33MW Module Order in Australia
Recently, JinkoSolar announced that it has officially reached a 79.33MW high-efficiency module supply agreement with an Australian customer. According to the agreement, this entire order will utilize JinkoSolar's Tiger Neo 3.0 series modules, specifically designated for the construction of local distributed PV projects in Australia.
According to incomplete statistics from TrendForce's solar and storage observation, the global cumulative signed orders for JinkoSolar's Tiger Neo 3.0 series N-type high-efficiency PV modules have currently exceeded 21GW. Its business footprint has comprehensively covered the four core regions of Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East and Africa (MEA), with orders in the European market surpassing 10GW.
SPIC New Energy Delivers 4.4MW Module Order to the Philippines
Recently, SPIC New Energy announced the successful delivery of its first batch of 4.4MW G12-132 high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) modules to a Philippine customer.
It is reported that this batch of modules will be widely applied in solar irrigation systems across various locations in the Philippines. Once put into use, the delivered 4.4MW modules will effectively replace traditional diesel energy. This will help agricultural clients achieve a second round of crop planting during the dry season, significantly enhancing land utilization and economic benefits while breaking free from high fuel costs.
