Recently, Chinese enterprises have frequently secured large energy storage orders both domestically and overseas. Jinko ESS has completed the delivery of a 722MWh energy storage system in India; Hyper Strong has signed new energy storage orders exceeding 1GWh in Southeastern Europe; and Sungrow has secured a supply agreement for a 643.8MWh energy storage project in Chile. Meanwhile, large orders have also emerged in the upstream materials sector, with Tinci Materials increasing its total electrolyte supply to Chuneng New Energy to 1.01 million tons.
Sungrow Signs 643.8MWh Energy Storage Order in Chile
On May 28, Sungrow signed a supply agreement with Sonnedix, an independent Spanish power operator. Sungrow will provide energy storage equipment with a total capacity of 643.8MWh for the Librillo independent energy storage project in Chile.
According to the agreement, Sungrow will provide 128 sets of PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled energy storage systems and 32 medium-voltage distribution boxes for the project. This project is a 5-hour long-duration energy storage system, with the delivery and installation of relevant equipment scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Jinko ESS Delivers 722MWh Energy Storage Order in India
Recently, Jinko ESS completed the equipment delivery of a 722MWh energy storage system for a large-scale new energy base project in India. The project utilizes 144 sets of Jinko's SunTera G2 liquid-cooled energy storage systems to support local new energy grid integration and consumption, grid peak shaving, and stable operation.
Following the completion of the equipment delivery, the project will enter the subsequent installation and commissioning phase. Jinko ESS stated that the company will provide full lifecycle services for the project—ranging from system solutions, product delivery, and on-site support to long-term collaborative operation and maintenance—to ensure the project's long-term stable operation.
Hyper Strong Secures Over 1GWh Energy Storage Order in Southeastern Europe
Recently, Hyper Strong signed orders exceeding 1GWh in the Balkan region, primarily involving markets such as Romania, Croatia, and Serbia.
Among these, two large-scale energy storage projects will be implemented in Romania, with a total scale exceeding 900MWh. The projects will use energy storage systems independently developed by Hyper Strong to support local grid peak shaving, frequency regulation, and new energy consumption.
In addition, Hyper Strong simultaneously signed new large-scale and commercial/industrial energy storage orders in Croatia and Serbia, with a combined scale of approximately 75MWh. Hyper Strong will supply its HyperBlock III AC-version large-scale energy storage systems and commercial/industrial outdoor cabinet products, precisely adapting to local new energy development and user energy demands.
Tinci Materials Signs Supplementary Long-Term Agreement to Supply 1.01 Million Tons of Electrolyte
On the evening of June 1, Tinci Materials announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiujiang Tinci, and Chuneng New Energy had signed a supplementary agreement based on their previously reached cooperation agreement. The new agreement adds Xiangyang Chuneng as a purchasing entity and adjusts the estimated total supply of electrolyte series products to no less than 1.01 million tons, with the agreement remaining valid until December 31, 2030.
This newly signed agreement serves as a supplement to their previous cooperation. The two parties initially reached a cooperation agreement and signed a production materials procurement agreement in July 2025, stipulating that the agreement would be valid until December 31, 2030. Under that initial agreement, Jiujiang Tinci would supply electrolyte series products to Chuneng New Energy system enterprises, with an estimated total supply of no less than 550,000 tons.
If this agreement is fully executed, Tinci Materials' supply volume to Chuneng New Energy before the end of 2030 will increase by more than 80% compared to the originally agreed amount.
