According to EnergyTrend, a number of energy storage projects have recently made new progress in contract signing and grid connection. Four enterprises including Sungrow , Hoymiles, Xiaxu New Energy and Tecloman Energy have ramped up efforts simultaneously, covering long-duration vanadium flow energy storage parks in China, industrial and commercial PV-storage projects in Europe, large-scale standalone energy storage projects in Southeast Asia, and China-Thailand cross-border energy cooperation initiatives.
Sungrow’s Cambodia Energy Storage Project Connected to the Grid
On July 20, Sungrow announced that its first standalone energy storage power station project in Cambodia has been successfully connected to the grid, with a scale of 100MW/200MWh.
The power station adopts PowerTitan liquid-cooled energy storage system, fully independently developed by Sungrow Power Supply. Leveraging three core technologies of the Cube technology platform — efficient power generation and consumption, intelligent digital optimization and multi-scenario integration — Sungrow conducted global simulation and optimization targeting local power grid characteristics and load curves, realizing the scientific deployment and optimal matching of the energy storage system.
Hoymiles Deploys HoyUltra All-in-One Energy Storage System in the Netherlands
On July 20, Hoymiles announced that its HoyUltra industrial and commercial all-in-one energy storage system has been deployed at a farm in the Netherlands.
Tailored for local application scenarios, Hoymiles delivered an integrated solution combining PV-storage coupling and intelligent scheduling. A total of 10 sets of HoyUltra industrial and commercial all-in-one energy storage systems were deployed to build a 1MW/2.15MWh energy storage system. The system enables flexible energy regulation between photovoltaic power generation and production loads, realizes cross-time power allocation, maximizes the self-consumption of green power and reduces grid power purchase, with surplus electricity connected to the grid on demand.
Designed to meet the diverse energy consumption needs of modern agriculture, the HoyUltra all-in-one energy storage system features a highly integrated design. It integrates batteries, power conversion systems (PCS), fire protection systems, power distribution units, thermal management systems and local energy management systems (EMS) into a standardized outdoor cabinet, supporting plug-and-play deployment.
Xiaxu New Energy Launches Energy Storage Project in Cooperation with Star New Energy
On July 20, Xiaxu New Energy announced the completion of a strategic cooperation signing with Star New Energy. The two parties have officially launched the 25MW/100MWh all-vanadium flow energy storage project for the Shangri-La Zero-Carbon Park, and signed a long-term in-depth strategic cooperation agreement in parallel.
Taking this project as a starting point, both sides will build a multi-dimensional industrial collaboration system covering financing, equipment procurement, power station operation and maintenance, power trading and low-altitude economy, so as to further consolidate their core layout advantages in the tracks of long-duration energy storage and computing power zero-carbon parks.
With a scale of 25MW/100MWh, the energy storage project of Shangri-La Zero-Carbon Park adopts the mature STAR 835 all-vanadium flow energy storage products of Star New Energy, which meet the stringent energy consumption standards of the park’s computing power infrastructure.
Tecloman Energy Signs China-Thailand Energy Storage Cooperation Deal with AMATA
On July 18, witnessed by Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, Tecloman Energy officially signed a cooperation agreement with AMATA Corporation Public Company Limited.
Leveraging their respective strengths in new energy storage technology, industrial resources and international markets, the two parties will actively explore more green energy application scenarios and jointly promote the low-carbon transformation of regional energy systems.
