JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 cumulative shipments to Pakistan have exceeded 300 MW; JA Solar won the bid for a 584.64 MW PV project in Gansu; Astronergy secured new partnerships in Europe and Australia; and Hanersun completed module delivery for a 14 MW commercial and industrial (C&I) distributed solar project in Anhui.
JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 Cumulative Shipments to Pakistan Surpass 300 MW
Recently, JinkoSolar announced that cumulative shipments of its Tiger Neo 3.0 series modules to the Pakistani market have exceeded 300 MW. The products are primarily deployed in local commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop and agricultural PV applications, among other distributed energy scenarios.
In the C&I sector, businesses are deploying PV systems to reduce electricity costs while integrating energy storage to enhance energy independence. In agriculture, PV solar pumping systems have become a key alternative to traditional diesel-powered irrigation, driving the growth of rural distributed PV applications.
JA Solar Wins Bid for 584.64 MW PV Project
Recently, JA Solar successfully won the tender for Section I of the "Gansu Tengger Desert Hexi New Energy Base Wuwei Minqin Hongshagang 1.2 GW Photovoltaic Project." The company will supply 584.64 MWp of high-efficiency PV modules, with a winning bid value of RMB 409.248 million.
The tenderee for this project is Gansu Minqin Longdian Ru Zhe Hongshagang Energy Co., Ltd., a controlled subsidiary of Zhejiang Provincial Energy Group (Zhejiang Energy Group). Besides supplying the PV modules and associated mounting hardware, JA Solar will also provide installation and commissioning guidance services.
Astronergy Secures PV Module Orders in Europe and Australia
Recently, Astronergy has pushed forward its overseas expansion, making significant collaborative strides in both the European and Australian markets.
In Europe, leveraging the full industrial chain synergy of CHINT Group, Astronergy, Chint Power, and Chint Solar will enter into a comprehensive and deep partnership with Octopus Energy in renewable energy project development. CHINT will provide a full spectrum of renewable energy equipment, including high-efficiency PV modules, inverters, energy storage systems, transformers, smart meters, cables, and EV charging solutions. Additionally, depending on specific project requirements, the parties can provide integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services to ensure high quality and efficient delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
In Australia, Astronergy collaborated with local system integrator DS Energy to complete and grid-connect a PV project at the Mercy Community Residential Aged Care facility in Queensland. With a total capacity of 825.12 kW, the project utilizes 1,719 ASTRO N series PV modules supplied by Astronergy.
Hanersun Delivers 14 MW PV Modules for Longxin Steel Project
Recently, Hanersun announced that the field installation of its 14 MW HITOUCH 6N 710W high-efficiency PV modules, supplied for Anhui Jingxian Longxin Steel Co., Ltd., has been completed, with the project now undergoing pre-grid connection preparations.
This C&I distributed PV project mainly utilizes the rooftop and unused spatial areas of Longxin Steel’s plant facilities and is expected to achieve grid-connected power generation in August.
