EnergyTrend has learned that PV module orders and projects have recently continued to secure landings. JinkoSolar, HY Energy, Huasun, and Suntech have successively advanced domestic and international projects and orders, covering utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), and overseas markets.
JinkoSolar Wins Bid for 100MW Module Procurement
On August 17, the bidding result announcement for PV module equipment procurement for the 100MW Hybrid PV Project in Changsa Town, Wenchang City was released. JinkoSolar won the bid with a total tax-inclusive bid price of approximately RMB 87.6094 million, translating to a unit price of around RMB 0.73/W.
Located in Changsa Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province, the project has a planned DC capacity of 120MWp and AC capacity of 100MW. A total of 32 PV power generation units will be built, including twenty-nine 3.2MW units and three 2.6MW units.
HY Energy Supplies 80MW PV Project
Recently, module and equipment installation for the 80MW PV section of CNNC's Xianghuang Banner 400MW Wind-Solar-Storage Integrated Base was fully completed, and the project officially entered the electrical wiring and system commissioning phase. HY Energy supplied high-efficiency N-type monocrystalline bifacial dual-glass modules for the project.
It is understood that the base has a total installed capacity of 400MW, covering wind power, solar PV, and energy storage operations. Among them, a total of 139,100 HY Energy modules were installed in the 80MW PV section.
Huasun Secures HJT Module Order in Pakistan
Recently, Huasun Energy signed a 100MW high-efficiency HJT module supply agreement with Air Solution, a subsidiary of Futex Group, in Lahore, Pakistan.
This marks the first overseas order for Huasun Energy's Himalaya PLUS series. Currently, this product series has achieved mass production, completed deliveries in the domestic market, and made its debut in the European market.
Moving forward, Huasun Energy will support Air Solution in establishing technical and experience centers across three major cities in Pakistan to provide local customers with enhanced after-sales service support.
Suntech Supplies C&I PV Project in Malaysia
Recently, Suntech's high-efficiency PV modules were deployed in a rooftop PV project for a commercial and industrial complex in Shah Alam, Malaysia, successfully completing full-process commissioning and grid-connected power generation.
Located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, the project adopts a rooftop distributed PV model. The generated electricity is primarily for self-consumption across the complex's hotel, office, and commercial scenarios. The project utilizes Suntech high-efficiency PV modules tailored to adapt to the local climate and C&I rooftop application scenarios.
