According to EnergyTrend, on September 11, CECEP Solar Energy released an investor relations activity announcement disclosing multiple business updates of the company.
Per the announcement, on the manufacturing side, CECEP Solar Energy’s 1.4 GW TOPCon project in Pingyi has entered the trial production phase. It can supply high-efficiency cells to support technological upgrades at the module end, and the related cells may also be sold externally.
CECEP Solar Energy stated that its manufacturing business is undergoing transformation and upgrading toward “smart manufacturing + services”. The company prioritizes the development of perovskite tandem solar cells, integrated digital photovoltaic businesses, improvement of traditional manufacturing operations, and upgrading of testing services.
Regarding the conversion efficiency of perovskite-silicon tandem cells, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of its small-area perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem cells has exceeded 34%. Construction of the 10 MW perovskite-crystalline silicon tandem cell pilot production line has started and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026.
After process verification at the pilot line, the company will launch large-scale production and product sales. Meanwhile, it will form a complete process package and supporting equipment solutions to export technology and equipment packages externally.
In the digital integrated energy business, CECEP Solar Energy has obtained filing approval for a 50 MW direct green power connection project, which will be developed subject to subsequent conditions. Its first virtual power plant platform system has been launched. In addition, the company is advancing one-stop clean energy solutions covering energy-carbon integrated energy services, industrial microgrid system integration, and source-grid-load-storage integration. Multiple projects have been signed or awarded, with a corresponding contract value exceeding RMB 50 million.
In the power-computing synergy sector, the company has engaged with several computing power clients and built up relevant project pipelines. Most projects are currently in the preliminary framework negotiation stage, and the company will select high-quality ones to launch pilots. In the future, it will develop supporting energy storage projects based on existing photovoltaic power stations to continuously expand the scale of matched energy storage capacity.
Besides, the announcement also disclosed renewable energy subsidies received this year. From January to August 2026 (as of August 31), CECEP Solar Energy received a total of RMB 2.442 billion in renewable energy subsidies, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%. Of this amount, national renewable energy subsidies stood at RMB 2.322 billion, rising 3.11% year-on-year.
