EnergyTrend has learned that there has been a flurry of updates on bidding awards and deliveries in the PV module market recently, with module tender results continuously published across multiple regions in China. Hanersun has shipped high-efficiency modules to Austria, while manufacturers including Jinko, Trina, LONGi and Chint have been shortlisted for PV projects in Shanxi, Guangdong and other provinces.
Hanersun Ships 36MW of Modules in Bulk to Austria
September 15 — Hanersun announced that its second batch of HITOUCH 6N PRO quarter-cut high-efficiency modules has been shipped from Shanghai to Austria in recent days.
The HITOUCH 6N PRO 655W modules delivered this time adopt large-size silicon wafers and quarter-cut high-efficiency cell technology. These high-performance modules will be installed at two ground-mounted PV plants in the towns of Wildon and Krottendorf in Styria, with a combined capacity of 36MW.
Publication of Bid Candidates for 100MW PV Module Procurement
September 14 — The shortlist of bid candidates for the PV module equipment procurement of Huaneng Zhongfeng Qin County 100MW (118.79712MWp) PV Power Project was released. Jinko Solar ranks as the first candidate, JA Solar the second, and Tongwei the third.
According to the tender notice, the Huaneng Zhongfeng Qin County 100MW (118.79712MWp) PV project has an AC-side installed capacity of 100MW. It plans to deploy N-type monocrystalline high-efficiency modules of 730Wp and above and string inverters with capacity above 300kW. Power will be stepped up via 35kV box-type step-up transformers and connected to the proposed 110kV booster substation. The tenderer is Shanxi Zhongfeng Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., and goods will be delivered to the construction site in Qin County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province.
Trina Solar Pre-awarded PV Module Procurement Order
September 11 — The bid candidate list for the PV module procurement project of Gemeng Ying County New Energy Co., Ltd. was published. Trina Solar Co., Ltd. is the first bid candidate with a quoted price of RMB 17.7 million; Yingli Energy Development Co., Ltd. is the second candidate at RMB 17.52 million.
The prior tender document shows the tenderer is Gemeng Ying County New Energy Co., Ltd., with an estimated procurement volume of 25MW. Delivery shall be completed by the end of November 2026 to the Paomaliang PV Power Station in Ying County, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province.
Six Firms including LONGi and Chint Pre-qualified for Module Orders
September 11 — The award results for the 3rd framework public tender for PV modules 2026–2027 launched by Huizhou Longyuan Electric Power Technical Service Co., Ltd. were publicized. A total of six enterprises were awarded the contract: LONGi Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Chint New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., Aiko Solar Co., Ltd., Guangdong Dongjiang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Dongjun Solar (Xiamen) New Energy Co., Ltd.
The tender notice states the tenderer is Huizhou Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. The estimated project value is RMB 80 million. The tenderer gives no guarantee on this estimated amount; actual orders shall prevail during the contract validity period.
