According to EnergyTrend, Trina Solar released an announcement on October 9, disclosing that the company added RMB 2.099 billion in new guarantee quotas during September 2026, accounting for 9.78% of its latest audited net assets.
Per the announcement, all funds backed by these new September guarantees will be used for financing by subsidiaries within the consolidated statements, to supplement operating capital for the group’s energystorage production bases and PV manufacturing entities.
Details of the guarantees show that funds are mainly allocated to energystoragesegment subsidiaries including Trina Energy Storage (Chuzhou) Co., Ltd., Trina Energy Storage Development (Yancheng) Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Trina Energy Storage Co., Ltd. Funding also covers PVbusiness entities such as Trina Solar (Changzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Trina Richfamily Energy Co., Ltd.
As of the announcement date, the total outstanding external guarantees provided by Trina Solar and its consolidatedstatement subsidiaries stood at RMB 46.784 billion, representing 218.02% of the latest audited net assets. Of this amount, guarantees for subsidiaries within the consolidated scope totalled RMB 44.893 billion.
Trina Solar stated that the guarantees do not involve its controlling shareholder, actual controller or their related parties. No overdue guarantees exist at present, and overall guarantee risks remain manageable.
