According to EnergyTrend, on November 4, the Xinzhou Economic Development Zone Administrative Approval Service Administration issued the "Taixin Economic Zone (Xinzhou District) 14 GW photovoltaic cell production base project BC high-efficiency photovoltaic cell production line intelligent transformation and improvement project Evaluation document publicity".
According to the announcement, the project implementation entity is DAS Solar Technology (Xinzhou) Co., Ltd. As a holding subsidiary of TCL Zhonghuan, Yiyi New Energy plans to carry out technological transformation of the existing 14 GW photovoltaic cell production base in Xinzhou. Upgrade the original TOPCon cell production line to BC cell production line.
Specifically, The project will convert the original 26 TOPCon cell production lines into Renovated and upgraded to 24 DBC back contact high-efficiency crystalline silicon cell production lines. The two existing battery workshops will rearrange BC cell production lines, with 12 lines in each workshop. Although the number of production lines has been reduced, due to the increase in single-chip battery power, After the project is completed, the total production capacity will remain unchanged at 14 GW..
In terms of equipment transformation, the project will eliminate some existing equipment, transform LP automation equipment, ALD passivation equipment, dual-track printing machines, etc., and add LP, graphics-related equipment, non-contact testing equipment, ovens, etc., and also build relevant environmental protection treatment facilities to adapt to the BC cell production process.
The project does not add new land or buildings, and mainly relies on the renovation of existing factories, public and auxiliary facilities. The total project investment is RMB 1.181 billion. Among them, self-owned funds are RMB 481 million, bank loans are RMB 700 million, and the construction period is about 12 months.
At present, the project has completed local registration on July 28, and entered the environmental impact assessment acceptance and publicity stage on November 4th, with the publicity period until November 17th.
