Daqo New Energy Corp., a polysilicon manufacturer which is headquartered in Chongqing City, China, announced that its subsidiary company, Xinjiang Daqo New Energy, has signed a two-year supply agreement with a PV company to supply polysilicon in spot price.
According to the agreement, Xinjiang Daqo has to supply polysilicon to the PV company monthly from January, 2014 to December, 2015. The supply involved in this agreement will represent about 20% of Daqo’s total output in 2014 and about 15% in 2015. Additionally, price of the polysilicon supplied will be negotiated on the basis of the spot market price.
