SolAmerica Energy, LLC of Atlanta and Citizens Energy Corporation of Boston today announced the completion of four solar projects totaling 5.1 MW in various locations in the state of Georgia. The projects are part of the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative pursuant to which Georgia Power will purchase power generated from the projects under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement.
The completed projects include the following:
SolAmerica developed and provided turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the projects. Citizens Solar, a division of Citizens Energy Corp., financed and will own the four projects as part of a larger portfolio acquired in the state in 2014-2015.
