T3 Motion, Inc., a producer of clean/green technology, announced an order from the South African Police Service (SAPS) for seventeen T3 Series Electric Stand-up Vehicles and 34 patented battery pack systems. Three vehicles are anticipated to be used for terminal and parking lot security at Johannesburg Tambo International Airport. Extra battery packs were purchased to ensure 24/7 patrol capability.
Before awarding the tender, SAPS held an extensive trial period to assess the benefits of T3 ESVs.
"This order from SAPS is an example of how our vehicles provide a practical solution for law enforcement agencies worldwide. Our patented swappable battery system provides customers with the capability to double their patrol capabilities with fewer vehicles, differentiating us from any other product on the market," stated Ki Nam, T3 Motion CEO.
