A flagship 100MW project at the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, will go online in the near future. Clenergy, cooperates with TBEA SunOasis, will provide 40MW of mounting systems for the project. TBEA SunOasis is the project's EPC and O&M provider.

TBEA SunOasis and Clenergy have jointly participated in utility scale solar projects since 2011. Most of the partnership's large-scale installations in China's northwest desert region use Clenergy's tailor made C-steel mounting solution. The 40MW in Pakistan marks the pairings first cooperation beyond the borders of China.

"With its tailor-made mounting solutions, Clenergy provides ease of installation and cost savings in a robust and corrosion-resistance structure," said Andy Ye, Vice President of Clenergy and the Secretary of the Board.

Pakistan is currently suffering from an energy shortfall of 6GW, with demand rising by 8 percent annually. The government of Pakistan hopes to extend the project to a mega-solar project of 1,000MW spread over 6,500 acres of land.
