On January 11th, EliTe Solar officially commissioned its PV Technology and Manufacturing Base in Egypt. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Arndt E. Lutz, CEO of EliTe Solar USA, attended the inauguration ceremony together.
It is reported that the newly commissioned EliTe Solar Egypt Industrial Base consists of two factories dedicated to PV cells and PV modules respectively. Covering the midstream and downstream manufacturing system from core PV components to end products, the base boasts an annual production capacity of 4GW.
Currently, EliTe Solar has completed manufacturing layout in multiple key regions including Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The full commissioning of the Egypt project further expands the company’s global manufacturing footprint. Positioned to connect the three major markets of the Middle East, Africa and Europe, the Egypt PV manufacturing base enjoys integrated advantages in maritime transportation, policy support and industrial clustering, which is highly aligned with the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
Notably, in November 2025, EliTe Solar signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with Hithium Energy Storage and Aton Energy. Under the agreement, the three parties will focus on key regional markets including the United States, Europe and the Asia-Pacific, and plan to jointly promote the implementation of energy storage projects with a total scale of no less than 10GWh within the next three years, so as to accelerate the global deployment of PV-storage integration.
