On January 10, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) officially launched its NING SERVICE Experience Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As CATL’s first new energy after-sales service center in the Middle East, it also ranks as the company’s largest overseas service facility to date.
Covering a floor area of over 7,000 square meters, the experience center is positioned as an integrated solution platform, boasting a full-scenario service matrix that includes battery diagnosis, repair, maintenance, rework, training, recycling, warehousing and logistics. It is compatible with seven major product categories, ranging from passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles to energy storage systems.
In terms of market layout, the center leverages a local warehousing space of 50,000 square meters, coupled with a global spare parts warehouse network spanning 370,000 square meters, to ensure the stable operation of the supply chain. As a regional service hub catering to the Middle East market, it also serves as a key platform to showcase CATL’s system-level technical capabilities in electric mobility, energy storage systems and intelligent electrification.
In terms of supporting service capabilities, the center is staffed by a local technical team certified by CATL, with its service network already covering five cities across Saudi Arabia. The launch of NING SERVICE will help Saudi Arabia advance the goals outlined in its Vision 2030, while extending its reach to the entire Middle East market.
Currently, CATL is in discussions with a number of leading local enterprises in Saudi Arabia. The cooperation directions include facilitating the rapid integration of green power into gas station networks, assisting large-scale infrastructure enterprises in advancing the electrification of heavy-duty truck fleets, and jointly deploying integrated PV + energy storage solutions with energy companies.
From the perspective of global business layout, the commissioning of CATL’s Saudi Service Experience Center marks a key milestone in the expansion of the company’s global after-sales service network. To date, NING SERVICE has extended its business coverage to 75 countries worldwide, with more than 1,200 professional service stations deployed cumulatively.
