February 8 — Cornex New Energy has signed an investment agreement with the Wuhan Municipal People’s Government for the "Wuhan Cornex Phase II New Energy Battery Production Project." The signing ceremony took place at the Wuhan Conference Center.

The Phase II project is designed with a planned annual capacity of 80GWh. It will primarily focus on the manufacturing of power batteries, energy storage batteries, and battery pack modules.

Currently, Cornex New Energy has established a coordinated production network within Hubei Province, headquartered in Wuhan with three major production bases in Yichang, Xiaogan, and Xiangyang. Furthermore, the company plans to establish an overseas base in Egypt. This expansion aims to build a total planned capacity exceeding 500GWh, comprehensively enhancing supply chain resilience, technology transfer efficiency, and market response speed.

Throughout the recently concluded year of 2025, Cornex New Energy demonstrated robust growth momentum. According to performance data released on January 1, 2026, the company’s full-year shipment volume exceeded 90GWh, representing a staggering 350% increase compared to 2024.

To guarantee the stable delivery of large-scale orders, Cornex has continuously optimized its upstream supply chain system since 2025. The company has signed long-term procurement agreements with industry leaders such as Kedali, Nuode Shares, Tinci Materials, and Lopal Tech. These partnerships cover a range of key raw materials, including cathode and anode materials, electrolytes, copper foil, and structural components. By deeply integrating industry chain resources, Cornex has secured a solid foundation for its capacity expansion and global delivery capabilities.
