Trina Solar and JinkoSolar Secure Major PV Orders

published: 2026-02-24 17:51

Since the start of 2026, leading photovoltaic enterprises have continuously secured new orders, achieving strong growth across both domestic and overseas markets. Recently, Trina Solar and JinkoSolar have successively announced project progress and overseas signings, covering large-scale photovoltaic and energy storage power stations on plateaus, tracking systems in Europe, and module supplies in the Middle East.

  1. Trina Solar Supplies 700W+ Modules for 1GW Power Station

According to EnergyTrend, on February 21, Trina Solar announced that the photovoltaic power station in Mangla Township, Guinan County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, supplied by Trina Solar, has been officially connected to the grid. The project has a total installed capacity of 1GW, among which 730MW adopts Trina Solar Vertex N-type 700W+ modules.

The project is located in Mangla Township, featuring a continental plateau climate and an altitude of 3,200 meters. The complex and extreme climate imposes strict requirements on the reliability, weather resistance and power generation efficiency of PV modules.

Based on the advanced 210 product technology platform and TOPCon cell technology, Trina Solar Vertex N-type 700W+ modules reach a maximum mass-produced power of 740W, with excellent low-irradiance performance and high bifaciality. They can generate power stably and efficiently even under plateau conditions of low irradiance and large temperature differences, effectively improving the overall power generation revenue of the project.

In addition, the project is equipped with a 200MWh/400MW electrochemical energy storage system, one 330kV booster station and corresponding transmission lines, forming an integrated “PV + energy storage” operation system.

  1. TrinaTracker Signs 360MW Project in Spain

Hot on the heels of the large-scale domestic power station connection, Trina Solar has maintained strong momentum in overseas markets. On February 23, Trina Solar announced that TrinaTracker has recently partnered with a Spanish EPC company to provide a total of 360MW of smart tracking system solutions for two major local PV projects.

Under the agreement, approximately 11,000 sets of Pioneer 1P single-row tracking systems will be delivered for the projects.Relying on the synergies of its global technology platform and localized service system, TrinaTracker has continuously improved its comprehensive capabilities in structural design, geological adaptation and engineering services, further strengthening its competitiveness in the European market.

  1. JinkoSolar Signs 150MW PV Module Order in the Middle East

In terms of overseas expansion, JinkoSolar has also secured major orders.Recently, JinkoSolar partnered with Al Nasr Solar, an official distributor and key partner in Yemen, signing a PV module supply agreement of over 150MW, covering the Tiger Neo 3.0 series modules.

Both JinkoSolar and Al Nasr Solar stated that this cooperation will effectively support the Middle East in achieving its renewable energy development goals, promote the high-quality development of the local PV industry, and lay a solid foundation for JinkoSolar’s continued expansion in the Middle East and other overseas markets.
