According to EnergyTrend, BYD released its production and sales report for February 2026 on March 1.
In February, the total installed capacity of BYD’s power batteries for new energy vehicles and energy storage batteries reached approximately 18.773 GWh, with a cumulative installed capacity of 38.960 GWh in 2026, maintaining steady growth.
On February 28, BYD stated on the investor interaction platform that the company maintains leading technologies in the battery sector and conducts parallel R&D on multiple technical routes. In energy storage, BYD has built a global system covering sales, delivery, operation and maintenance, and after-sales services.
To date, BYD Energy Storage has successfully delivered more than 500 energy storage projects, with a presence in over 110 countries and regions worldwide.
In the domestic market, BYD’s energy storage business has also made a strong start this year, winning bids for four major energy storage projects in January.
