Recently, Gotion High-tech officially established two new photovoltaic (PV) power generation companies—Lujiang Ketan Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Lujiang Jinneng Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd.—on April 1st through indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries.
According to data from Qichacha, Lan Fu serves as the legal representative for both newly established companies, Lujiang Ketan Photovoltaic and Lujiang Jinneng Photovoltaic. Each company has a registered capital of 1 million yuan, and their business scopes overlap significantly.
Their registered business scopes cover not only core solar power generation technology services and general power generation technology services, but also extend across disciplines into fields such as the research and development (R&D) of systems related to offshore wind power and wind farms.
In fact, this is not the first time Gotion High-tech has established enterprises related to photovoltaic and wind power. Since 2024, the company has been intensively making strategic moves in the "wind, solar, and storage" (wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage) sector:
In February 2025, Gotion High-tech established Lujiang Gotion Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd.; in March of the same year, it subsequently established Lujiang Luxuan Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd.
In September 2024, a subsidiary of Gotion High-tech and Huadian Anhui New Energy (a subsidiary of China Huadian Corporation) jointly funded and established Tongcheng Huaxuan New Energy Co., Ltd. The business operations of this joint venture are directly aimed at the development of new energy power stations, with solar and wind power generation explicitly listed in its business scope.
In March and October 2024, Jiangxi Gotion New Energy Development Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Gotion New Energy Co., Ltd. were successively established. Both companies are indirectly wholly-owned by Gotion High-tech, and their operations encompass the R&D of solar energy, energy storage, and wind power systems.
Overall, this intensive series of newly established companies and joint venture activities indicates that Gotion High-tech is accelerating the expansion of its new energy business boundaries. The company is taking significant strides from being solely a manufacturer of motive power and energy storage batteries to becoming an integrated, comprehensive energy service provider encompassing "wind, solar, and storage."
