JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar and Sungrow Renewable Energy Launch New Photovoltaic Modules

published: 2026-06-03 14:13

On the eve of the SNEC 2026 exhibition, JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar, and Sungrow Renewable Energy have successively released their new generation of module products. Among them, JinkoSolar launched the 700W Tiger 5 module, Canadian Solar released its third-generation TOPCon module, and Sungrow Renewable Energy introduced the world's first highly efficient smart module.

JinkoSolar Releases the Tiger 5 Module

On June 2nd, JinkoSolar released the all-new generation Tiger 5 module alongside its full-scenario product matrix at the "2026 SNEC New Product Launch and Media Communication Meeting."

This module achieves comprehensive efficiency improvements through advanced processes such as a high-purity homogeneous silicon base, a broad-spectrum light-trapping structure, a full-area passivation process, and gapless cell layout packaging. Under the same dimensions, its power output leaps from 670W to 700W, achieving a module efficiency of 25.91% and a power density exceeding 259W/㎡. This leads TOPCon modules into a new era of 700W+.

In addition, JinkoSolar's full-scenario product matrix made its full debut—including the Anti-Dust, AIDC, Security Guard, Anti-Glare, Light-Weight Diamond, and Taishan modules—building a highly differentiated product portfolio.

Canadian Solar Launches Third-Generation TOPCon Photovoltaic Module Products

On June 2nd, Canadian Solar announced the launch of its all-new third-generation TOPCon photovoltaic module products. This series of modules boasts a power output of up to 670W and a module efficiency of up to 24.8%, with global mass production and delivery scheduled for August 2026.

As Canadian Solar's new generation of high-efficiency photovoltaic products, the third-generation TOPCon modules are based on large-format rectangular cells. They innovatively adopt a multi-cut module structural design and efficient incident light utilization technology, achieving a comprehensive upgrade in core power generation performance. The products maintain the industry-mainstream dimensions of 2382×1134×30mm. While ensuring ultra-high power output, they maximize container loading efficiency and transportation economy, while simultaneously accommodating the convenience and versatility of photovoltaic system design, construction, and installation.

It is reported that this series of modules is widely applicable to diverse application scenarios worldwide, including large-scale utility power plants, as well as commercial, industrial, and residential distributed systems.

Sungrow Renewable Energy Releases Its First Highly Efficient Smart Module

On June 1st, Sungrow Renewable Energy, a holding subsidiary of Sungrow Power Supply, launched the world's first independently developed highly efficient smart module at the "2026 Smart Technology Conference," and simultaneously released the new Sungrow Roof BIPV 2.0 power plant product.

According to introductions, this highly efficient smart module deeply integrates core technologies such as power electronics, materials science, and AI algorithms. It combines "self-diagnosis, self-shutdown, self-cleaning, self-cooling, and self-archiving" into one, achieving a leapfrog upgrade from a "passive power generation unit" to an "active smart terminal."

At the same time, Sungrow Renewable Energy partnered with authoritative institutions to release the "Smart Photovoltaic Module Technology White Paper." This document proposes a grading standard for smart modules for the first time in the industry, leading the sector into a new stage of upgraded development.
