On October 20, EVE Energy Co., Ltd. (EVE Energy) held a launch and roll-off ceremony for its cutting-edge new products at its Chengdu base, officially unveiling the "Longquan No. 3 2.0" all-solid-state battery alongside a dedicated sodium-ion battery solution for electric two-wheelers. During the event, three products—the "Longquan No. 3 2.0," a polymer-oxide all-solid-state battery, and a solid-liquid hybrid battery—simultaneously rolled off the production line.

The newly introduced "Longquan No. 3 2.0" all-solid-state battery is primarily designed for implantable brain-computer interface (BCI) applications. Utilizing an anode-free design architecture and integrating custom-shaped cell engineering with insulating dam technology, the battery achieves a volumetric energy density of 1,045 Wh/L within a titanium-cased button cell measuring 23 mm in diameter and 4 mm in thickness—a 40% increase compared to conventional liquid-electrolyte cells.

By substituting a solid electrolyte for liquid electrolytes, the product is engineered to mitigate the risks of electrolyte leakage and thermal runaway, fulfilling the stringent demands of implantable medical devices regarding compact dimensions, energy density, and operational safety.

At the event, EVE Energy also signed strategic cooperation agreements with SceneRay Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital. The parties plan to collaborate on implantable brain-computer interface technologies, establishing an integrated pathway connecting battery research and development, product industrialization, and clinical application.

In recent years, EVE Energy has steadily accelerated its R&D in solid-state battery technology. In September 2025, the mass-production base of the EVE Energy Solid-State Battery Research Institute in Chengdu was officially inaugurated, alongside the roll-off of the "Longquan No. 2" all-solid-state battery. Developed as a 10 Ah cell, this product achieves a gravimetric energy density of 300 Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 700 Wh/L, targeted primarily at high-end equipment applications including humanoid robotics, low-altitude aircraft, and artificial intelligence hardware.

In March 2026, EVE Energy further announced the successful roll-off of its "Longquan No. 3" and "Longquan No. 4" all-solid-state batteries. According to the company, both products achieved significant progress in operating pressure control through material system optimizations and structural design innovations. Among them, "Longquan No. 3" is aimed primarily at humanoid robotics, while "Longquan No. 4" is tailored for new energy vehicles (NEVs).
